We know that we are only as successful as the communities we operate in and the people who power our team.

Delivering world-class aircrew training and support for Canada’s military requires engaged employees and strong communities.

We foster strong ties with communities by investing directly in them and supporting their charitable efforts. By giving back to Canadians coast to coast to coast, we are doing our part to protect Canada’s interests and build our common future.

In October 2020, CAE became Canada’s first carbon-neutral aerospace company, achieved by reducing its own emissions and by making investments in projects that offset its remaining annual carbon emissions.

Spotlight:
CAE Canada’s first carbon-neutral aerospace company

CAE President and CEO Marc Parent held a live virtual discussion with CAE employees and their children to celebrate the announcement of CAE’s carbon neutrality achievement.

On September 29, 2020, CAE proudly became the first Canadian aerospace company to achieve carbon neutrality.

CAE accomplished this feat by combining aggressive efforts to reduce its own emissions and by making investments in projects that offset its remaining annual carbon emissions.

“This is a bold achievement and we hope that CAE’s commitment in the fight against climate change will inspire other companies to take tangible actions today,” said Marc Parent, President and CEO at CAE.

Mr. Parent highlighted CAE’s commitment to engage with Canada’s future generations, including working with industry towards the development of electric aircraft.

Says Navdeep Bains, Canada’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry:

“I am pleased to see Canadian companies demonstrating their leadership in the fight against climate change by working towards the green recovery of our aerospace industry. I would like to congratulate CAE for taking up this challenge. It is inspiring for both Canadian industry and future generations.”
