SkyAlyne combines Canada’s largest commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company with a worldwide leader in simulation, training and support for military and civilian aviation.

SkyAlyne combines the world leader in in-flight and simulation aircrew training with Canada’s largest commercial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company.

Drawing on our decades of combined military and civilian aviation training, simulation and in-service support, including our long-standing partnerships with the RCAF, we are ready to immediately deliver on the entire scope of the FAcT program.

Unmatched in Canadian Military Pilot Training

Our parent companies – CAE and KF Aerospace – currently provide all phases of contracted training for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) through two contracted programs: the CFTS program in Southport, MB, and the NFTC program in Moose Jaw, SK/Cold Lake, AB.

We support the RCAF by providing pilot training and in-service support, simulation training, airfield and operational support and aircraft procurement and maintenance. We also partner with the military and local communities to lift people and organizations and create lasting benefits for Canadians.

The Lowest-Transition Risk

By creating SkyAlyne, CAE and KF Aerospace have brought the entire scope of contracted military pilot training in Canada under one umbrella.

Why is this important for FAcT? The knowledge and experience gained through managing the existing programs will be critical to delivering next-generation training. Large training programs require constant adaptation to deliver consistent, quality outcomes. By applying the same efficiencies needed to excel in the private sector to a complex military environment, the teams at Southport and Moose Jaw/Cold Lake have achieved consistently high-performance scores and aircraft availability rates, keeping student pilots in the air.

Our full range of capabilities

SkyAlyne brings together the substantial experience, resources and expertise of two Canadian industry leaders. Our parent companies and strategic partners offer the full range of capabilities that will be needed for Future Aircrew Training.
