The entire team at SkyAlyne extends our congratulations to Lieutenant General Jamie Speiser-Blanchet, as she assumes command of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Lt-Gen Speiser-Blanchet’s career in the RCAF includes operational experience as a CH-146 Griffon tactical helicopter pilot, as well as numerous staff and command roles. She also deployed multiple times in support of UN and NATO operations, including to Haiti, Bosnia, and Kuwait.
Lt-Gen Speiser-Blanchet has served in the CAF for more than 30 years and becomes the 22nd Commander of the RCAF. She is also the first woman to hold this role.
Our team also extends thanks to outgoing RCAF Commander Lt-Gen Eric Kenny, for both his leadership of the RCAF as well as his 36-years of dedicated service. We appreciate his vision and dedication and wish him happiness in his well-earned retirement.
We look forward to continuing our important work together with the RCAF as the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program revamps Canada’s ab-initio military aircrew training ecosystem.
