The Regina Multicultural Council (RMC) is excited to announce that a cherished Regina tradition is making its comeback in 2023. Mosaic – A Festival of Cultures will return to the Queen city on June 1, 2 and 3. The Mosaic Committee is busy planning the event in collaboration with its stakeholders.

“We are intent on restoring the cultural festival’s well-loved pavilions, where festival-goers have flocked year-after-year for international culinary delights and diverse entertainment,” said Nish Prasad, Chair of Mosaic.

Representing cultures from across the world, the pavilions are known for their welcoming atmosphere and their ability to capture and share the distinct energy and identity of the countries they represent. They offer delicious food, colorful costumes and décor, plus lively music and dancing. Mosaic organizers plan to bring back the festival’s original format, including free transportation that allows people to easily travel from pavilion to pavilion, experiencing international food and drink. This popular tried and true model has made Mosaic the cultural event of summers past. Mosaic was first established as a cultural festival in 1967, and was held annually until the summer of 2020 when public health concerns prompted its cancellation.
