Media Advisory: RCAF and Future Aircrew Training industry partners to unveil CT-153 Juno (Airbus H135) helicopter at CANSEC 2026

May 26, 2026 // Ottawa, Ontario — Media are invited to the public unveiling of the first CT-153 Juno (Airbus H135) helicopter to be delivered to the RCAF. The helicopter will be featured at CANSEC as part of its transit to 3 Canadian Forces Flying Training School in Southport, Manitoba where a fleet of 19 of the Advanced Flying Training- Rotary Wing aircraft will eventually be used to train all future RCAF helicopter pilots.

Lieutenant-General Jamie Speiser-Blanchet, Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force, will provide a brief update on Future Aircrew Training (FAcT), alongside Dwayne Charette, President of Airbus Helicopters in Canada, and France Hébert, President of SkyAlyne.

Following remarks, photo opportunities of the Juno will be available nearby at the SkyAlyne/Airbus booth – #4500.
